Team leaders or supervisors play a crucial first-line management role, overseeing operations or projects and leading teams toward specific outcomes. Regardless of sector or organisational size, their responsibilities entail providing direction, guidance, and instructions to achieve set goals. Key duties encompass supporting, managing, and developing team members, overseeing projects, planning and monitoring workloads/resources, executing operational plans, problem-solving, and fostering internal and external relationships. The required knowledge, skills, and behaviours remain consistent across roles despite varying specific responsibilities.
The entry requirement for this apprenticeship will be decided by each employer, but may typically be five GCSEs at Grade C or higher.
Coursework:
Creation of a portfolio of learning demonstrating learning and development activities with their application in the workplace.
Undertakes research and analysis of a workplace project.
Evidence of 360° feedback within the portfolio of learning.
End Point Assessment Gateway:
Completed portfolio of learning.
English and Maths level 2, as a minimum.
Completed workplace project.
End Point Assessment (Involving 2 Assessment Methods):
Simulated Task.
